Browser Wars

Looks like Firefox may be the comeback kid, taking up more and more marketshare of browser's use from Internet Explorer. Interesting to see, considering Firefox arose from the ashes of Netscape. It could read like a dramatic plot, the son avenging the father.
Personally, I would prefer everyone use Firefox or Safari, given the inconsistent way Explorer handles website CSS styling on the sites I build. But Explorer version 8 promises to help resolves those issues. Could take years for that to be dominant version is use, however, since Explorer 6 is still widely used, and that came out over 6 years ago.
Current tracking shows Firefox around 21%, Explorer at a still dominant (but slipping) 68%, and my fave, Safari, close to 8%.
